We have an organization, Nature Conservancy in the US, maybe there is an international conservancy. Their objective is to protect the most important natural places by making land trades with companies such as lumber companies and requiring the companies to practice conservation, replanting and reforesting, so the most valuable lands are saved. They teach people to understand the importance of maintaining the world's forests for esthetic reasons and to save the Earth's atmosphere for all life.
