The first child protection notification was already made at the maternity hospital, when Johanna refused to get out of bed and the child's father had to take care of the baby alone (with Marja's help).
Marja Tukiainen supported Johanna and Isabell ever since the police were called to the home of Johanna and her then-spouse after Johanna and her husband had argued about whether it was okay to breastfeed while drunk. This happened in January 2021 when the child was 3 months old. In that case, a child protection notice was also filed and in order to keep the baby, Johanna moved in with her parents, because the authorities considered that the parents, especially Marja, are safe for the child, because Johanna cannot cope with it alone. The child's father also lived in the apartment for a while.
During the whole year and a half before the final custody, Johanna was made numerous child protection reports and one of them was made by the sister, Jasmine Tukiainen. During this time, Marja took care of, fed and clothed the child, and at the same time lied and deceived the authorities, giving the impression that Johanna was taking care of her child herself. Johanna and her children also lived in an assisted living dormitory for a while, where everyday life was tried to get going, but the constant use of substances and the neglect of the child's needs caused her to end up in foster care.
Even then, Marja tried to mislead the authorities by claiming that the child could be placed with Johanna's brother and his spouse. However, the intention was that the child would secretly live with Marja, whose home had already been found to be an unsuitable place for a child. The plan collapsed when Johanna had a tantrum at the counseling session.
All this time, Marja, a 70-year-old woman, took care of a small child, her demented husband, as well as the family finances, cleaning, etc. It didn't go well, as the photos taken on the spot show. On the floors, e.g. dog faeces, food scraps and several bottles of baby formula that were clearly old and had been warm for some time.
In the end, Marja had enough after Johanna attacked her again and she told the authorities the truth, expressing at the same time that she no longer feels capable of taking care of Isabella. This was her wisest act in many ten years, during which she has financed Johanna and saved her from numerous problems.
All in all, Isabell is safe now and doesn't have togrow up in toxic enviroment.
Ensimmäinen lastensuojeluilmoitus tehtiin jo synnytyslaitoksella, kun Johanna kieltäytyi nousemasta sängystä ja lapsen isä joutui yksin hoitamaan vauvaa (Marjan avulla).
Marja Tukiainen elätti Johannaa ja Isabellia siitä saakka, kun Johannan ja silloisen puolisonsa kotiin kutsuttiin poliisit Johannan ja avomiehen riideltyä siitä, voiko humalassa imettää. Tämä tapahtui tammikuussa 2021 lapsen ollessa 3 kk vanha. Tällöin tehtiin myös lastensuojeluilmoitus ja pitääkseen vauvan, Johanna muutti vanhemmilleen, sillä viranomaiset katsoivat, että vanhemmat, varsinkin Marja ovat turvaksi lapselle, koska johanna ei pärjää yksin sen kanssa. Asunnossa asui jonkin aikaa myös lapsen isä.
Koko puolentoista vuoden aikana ennen lopullista huostaanottoa, Johannasta tehtiin lukuisia lastensuojeluilmoituksia ja näistä yhden teki sisär, Jasmine Tukiainen. Tänä aikana Marja hoiti, syötti ja vaatetti lapsen, ja samaan aikaan valehteli ja hämäsi viranomaisia antaen kuvaa, että Johanna hoitaa itse lapsensa. Johanna asui lapsineen myös hetken avustetussa asuntolassa, jossa arki koitettiin saada rullaamaan, mutta jatkuva päihteiden käyttö ja lapsen tarpeiden huomiottajättäminen aiheuttivat loputa huostaanoton aloittamisen.
Vielä tällöinkin Marja yritti harhauttaa viranomaisia väittämällä, että lapsen voi sijoittaa Johannan veljelle ja hänen puolisolleen. Tarkoitus kuitenkin oli, että lapsi asuisi salaa Marjalla, jonka koti oli jo aiemmin niin ikään todettu lapselle sopimattomaksi paikaksi. Suunnitelma romahti, kun Johanna sai neuvolassa raivokohtauksen.
Koko tämän ajan Marja, 70-vuotias nainen, hoiti pientä lasta, dementoitunutta aviomiestään sekä perheen taloutta, siivoamista ym. Hyvinhän se ei sujunut, kuten paikalla otetut valokuvat kertovat. Lattioilla pyöri mm. koiran ulostetta, ruoanjämiä ja useita äidinmaidonkorvikepulloja, jotka olivat selkeästi vanhoja ja olleet lämpimässä jo jonkin aikaa.
Lopulta Marjakin sai tarpeekseen Johannan jälleen hyökättyä hänen kimppuunsa ja hän kertoi viranomiasille totuuden ilmaisten samalla, ettei koe olevansa enää kykenevä Isabellista huolehtimaan. Tämä olikin hänen viisain tekonsa moneen kymmeneen vuoteen, joiden aikana hän on rahoittanut Johannaa ja pelastanut tämän lukuisista ongelmista.
Isabell on turvassa nyt, eikä joudu kasvamaan alkoholismin, sekakäytön ja väkivallan täyttämässä ympäristössä.
