Kytkykauppa pois jääkiekon MM-kisoista

Vuoden 1997 jääkiekon MM-kisoihin ei voinut ostaa Suomi-Ranska-otteluun lippua ostamatta samana päivänä aiemmin pelattuun Tshekki-Saksa-otteluun ja seuraavana päivänä pelattuun Venäjä-Slovakia-otteluun samaa paikkaa, ja huolimatta tästä Tshekki-Saksa-ottelun jälkeen ennen Suomi-Ranska-ottelua areena tyhjennettiin lippujen uudestaan tarkastamiseksi.

Vuoden 2003 jääkiekon MM-kisoihin ei voinut ostaa Suomi-Itävalta-otteluun lippua ostamatta samana päivänä aiemmin pelattuun Tshekki-Slovenia-otteluun ja seuraavan päivänä pelattuihin Saksa-Japani ja Ukraina-Slovakia-otteluihin samaa paikkaa, ja huolimatta tästä molempina päivinä otteluiden välissä areena tyhjennettiin lippujen uudestaan tarkastamiseksi.

Karjala-turnauksen Suomi-Ruotsi-otteluun joka isänpäivä ei koskaan voi ostaa lippua ostamatta samana päivänä aiemmin pelattavaan Tshekki-Venäjä-otteluun samaa paikkaa.

Vuonna 2012 kun jääkiekon MM-kisaisännyys on jaettu Suomen ja Ruotsin kesken, ei Suomessa pelattaviin peleihin ole yksittäin myynnissä lippuja yhtä varhain kuin myydään neljän ottelun paketteja, joidenka hinnat ovat halvimmillaankin jopa 250 euroa. Tästä seuraa, että silloin kun pakettikytkökset irroitetaan, ei ole enää mitään takuita siitä että lippuja on jäljellä - niin nopeasti esimerkiksi vuoden 1997 kisat myytiin loppuun, mutta sitten kolme viikkoa ennen kisoja ilmeni kuitenkin että lippuja oli sittenkin yhä jäljellä.

Neljän ottelun paketteja, joita ei saa mihinkään otteluun alle 250 eurolla, tulee myyntiin jo ennen vappua 2011, mutta yksittäisiä ottelulippuja voi ostaa vasta joskus pääsiäisen 2012 tienoolla.

Vaadimme, että Suomen Jääkiekkoliitto lopettaa nämä kytkykaupat ja ryhtyy tuomaan yksittäisliput myyntiin yhtä varhain kuin pakettiliput ja jättää kytkökset otteluiden välillä mieluiten kokonaan tekemättä. Muutoin lippuja myydään turhaan ja paikkoja jää käyttämättä, koska kytkykaupalla on pakotettu lipunostajat ostamaan lippuja otteluihin, jotka heitä eivät pätkääkään kiinnosta.

Jos tämä adressi saa tarpeeksi allekirjoituksia, sen englanninnos pyritään lähettämään myös keskusjärjestö IIHF:lle.

In 1997 it was impossible to buy a ticket for the ice hockey world championship game between Finland and France without purchasing the same seat also to the game between Czech and Germany earlier same afternoon and to the game between Russia and Slovakia following afternoon. Despite this the arena was evacuated between the game between Czech and Germany and the game between Finland and France, in order to recheck tickets.

In 2003 it was impossible to buy a ticket for the ice hockey world championship game between Finland and Austria without purchasing the same seat also to the game between Czech and Slovenia earlier same afternoon and to the games between Germany and Japan and between Ukraine and Slovakia following day. Despite this the arena was evacuated between games in order to recheck tickets.

In the Karelia tournament the traditional game between Finland and Sweden every Father's Day (second Sunday of every November) is only available with such a ticket which includes automatically the same seat in an earlier game on the same day between Russia and Czech. It is impossible to buy only one of these two games without buying the same seat for the other one.

In 2012 when the hosting of the ice hockey world championships is shared between Finland and Sweden, for those games that take place in Finland the single tickets are not on sale as early as packages consisting of four games each on the same seat. The cheapest such package costs as much as about 250 euros per person. As a consequence of this, it is not possible to count on that there are still tickets available when four weeks before the championships these connections are disconnected and separate tickets for one game only come on sale. There is no guarantee that there are any tickets left as late as that. For example tickets for the 1997 ice hockey world championships were sold out so quickly that six weeks before games there were no tickets left, but three weeks before games it turned out that there still were tickets available despite everything.

Ticket packages consisting of same seat for four games each and costing at least 250 euros per person per set are on sale already April 2011, whereas single tickets to one game only are not available before approximately Easter 2012.

We hereby demand that the Finland Hockey Pool stops this binding between different games and puts single game tickets available as early as packages and leaves the same seat in different games unconnected on ticket sales. Otherwise unnecessary sellouts occur and seats are unused, because the connections between same seat in different games, including games that don't interest those people who are buying the tickets because of a significantly more interesting game in the same package, whereas these seats would in case of sellout of one game be useful in another game if the sale were not connected so that same person must buy same seat for multiple games in order to get in to only one of those many.

If this petition gets enough signatures, at least the English language version thereof will also be sent to the central organisation IIHF if possible.
