Please continue lease contract of the Kierikki hotel! Dirkje and Coen did a great job creating a beautiful place to stay, working with heart & soul for these years. It will be a loss for the community if they can't continue!

Please let Dirkje and Coen continue their work for the hotel.

This wonderful project really deserves more of a chance than this, but regardless of the outcome, 4 weeks notice for such a business is absurd. I hope with more talks and an open mind all parties can come to a working solution !!

It wouldn't be in the best interest of the Hotel management to close Kierikki! What better way to promote the surround area and nature to people.

Is it really necessary to end the lease, and what has been build up to throw it all away?
What will happen to the Hotel when it closes?

These people are enthousiasts who love the hotel, the guests and Finland!
Please do not disheart them and sent them away from a place they love to be at.

The people of the hotel are good publicity for the area. If the Dutch connection is lost, your area has to compete with the whole of Finland when we choose the destination for our next woolfelting-holiday.

Nämä kaksi Suomen ystävää ovat tehneet todella paljon töitä ja markkinoineet hotellia ympäri Suomea ja Eurooppaa. He ovat jopa rakentaneet oman talon Yli-Iihin. Nyt kun markkinointi alkaa tuottaa tulosta ja asiakkaita on keväällä runsaasti, kunta katsoo heidät tarpeettomiksi katkaisten vuokrasopimuksen. Uskomatonta!!
These two friends of Finland have worked really hard marketing hotell in Finland and in Europe since year 2007.They have even built their home in Yli-Ii. Now, when marketing is going to bring much customers during this sring, municipality looks that they don´t need them any more and stops renting contract of hotell. Unbeliable !!

Onbegrijpelijk dat een bestuurder het belang van hardwerkende inwoners van een gemeente - plus het bijkomend belang voor de andere inwoners van die gemeente door verhoogde aantrekkelijk voor toeristen en natuurliefhebbers indergeschikt maakt aan kennelijk persoonlijk falen in bestuurlijke samenwerking. Gemeentebestuurders moeten maar 1 belang laten tellen en dat is het belang van de gemeente! Verhoging van de mogelijkheden voor toeristen binnen een gemeente zal altijd de economie van die gemeente bevorderen - mensen aantrekken die rondwandelen en investeren, reclame maken voor deze mooie natuurlijke omgeving...

för ha hyreskontrakten längre.
Jag var på min sommarsemestern 2009 i omgivning, och stannade i hotelet för 14 dagar, med en mycket bra service fran den hollanska ägare.
Giv dom en längre möjlighet för dom livsverk, tack. Hotelet är just en positv utgångspunkt för varje naturälskare

I really wish the decision would be reconsidered and, in fact, changed to the decision to let the people of Kierikki Hotel continue to build further on what has been achieved!

Olemme olleet hotellissa kahtena edellisenä kesänä ja haluamme olla siellä ensi kesänäkin lomaviikkomme ja osallistua samalla arkeologisille kaivauksille!

Such a shame, how can it be that such a good hotel can be closed :( How can something like this beautiful dream be closed????

Kerran olemme hotellille ehtineet, ja ehdottomasti haluamme tulla toistekin! Ihana ainutlaatuinen paikka, vieraanvaraiset ystävälliset ja avuliaat isäntä ja emäntä. Eihän nyt tällaista toimivaa konseptia kannata hukata!

Ihana hotelli, alue ja isäntäväki (omistajat). Tuskin mitään muuta syytä lähteä Yli-Iihin jatkossa, jos hotellin toiminta lakkaa - tämä on ollut suuri syy poiketa reitilta kuntaan. Eli suuri menetys kunnalle, sen vetovoimalle ja turismille. Juuri kun perheen työ alkaa tuottaa tulosta, olisi järjetöntä lakkauttaa hotelli.

Entisenä Yli-Iiläisenä olen paikkakunnalla käydessäni aina yöpynyt hotellissa perheeni kanssa, mutta jatkossa yöpyminen olisi tehtävä Oulussa ilman luonnon elämyksiä kaupunkihotellissa. En tekisi perheeni kanssa mielellään uutta kesälomasuunnitelmaa, onko se kunnan taholta aivan pakko. Hotelli on ainutkertainen ulkoasultaan, sisustukseltaan ja isäntäperheen ystävällisyydellään. Miettikää vielä kaikki vaihtoehdot ennenkuin teette ratkaisuja.

Mitä enemmän Oulun seudulla mutta sen ulkopuolella on Kierikin kaltaisia arvokkaita tutustumiskohteita ja nähtävyyksiä, sitä enemmän kaivataan myös kokous-, majoitus- ja ravitsemustiloja. Kierikissä kaikki on yhdessä ja hienosti hoidettuna.

What arguments are there to close at such short notice. Are the short term cost not higher then the revenues?

The owners did a really good job the last 5 years. Brought notice to the region, kept employment in a tough time period.

Every conflict can be solved when people keep talking. I'am curious to all possiblities beside closing - lets talk!

Varsinkin, kun Kierikkikeskusta markkinoidaan suomalaisille ja muista maista tuleville turisteille.
Kyseessä on tosi suuri virhe, jos majoitustoiminta
mahtavassa ympäristössä lakkautetaan.

Olen täysin tyrmistynyt nähtyäni ja kuultuani tästä vuokrasopimuksen irtisanomisesta, ja ennen kaikkea lyhyestä varoitusajasta. Olen Oulun alueelta, mutta silti yöpynyt hotellissa ja menossa ensi viikonloppunakin. Parempaa palvelua en ole koskaan saanut. Äärimmäisen kohteliasta ja kodikasta palvelua. Isäntäpariskunnan innokkuus ja hollantilaisuuden tuominen Suomeen on ollut eksoottista. Tämä päätös tuntuu hyvin väärältä ja käsittämättömältä.
I am fully shocked after having heard about the possible closing of Nature Hotel Activities in Kierikki. I come from Oulu region, and still I have been as a guest and customer to the hotel and find it very unique and special with the most friendly, enthusiastic, and cozy service. It has been a great asset to Yli-Ii and region that Dirkje and Coen have brought some Dutch culture among Finns. The situation and Yli-Ii municipality decisions seems totally unfair and out of the civilized world.

Ik wil je heel veel succes wensen met je petitie voor je hotel!! Ik zal voor je duimen.. een passie mag nooit afgepakt worden door burocratie! Ik weet hoe gelukkig jij bent met je hotel dus ik hoop dat je contract gewoon verlengd word...

Olimme viime kesänä hotellissa ja saimme erittäin hyvän palvelun ja nautimme ihanasta paikasta.

Emme voi hyväksyä tällaista kohtelua !!!!!
